Try this site for local news. Just select which newspaper you want, and enter keywords to narrow the search.

When asked for information here, enter glenmeadow1 and 12345 for a user ID and password. You may choose articles by regions at this site. Look to the left of your screen and limit articles concerning Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe or the Middle East.This is quite helpful if you must select an article from a particular part of the world.
Yahoo also allows you to choose a section of the world . At the top of the page, type in the name of the area from where you'd like some current events. Or simply arrow down and view the many interesting articles offered to you from around the world.
You may narrow down your articles to regions such as Africa, Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, South Asia and UK at this site.
Look to the bottom of your screen and click on World for world events. You will be able to arrow down to a particular section of the world, such as Europe, Asia, Middle East, Americas, and Africa.

Just go to our Glen Meadow Website and click on Periodical DatabasesYou will need user ID numbers and passwords to access these sites. Mrs. Palinski will give you a form with all this information.
