- Our library is open every period of every school day.
Students may visit the library during any period as long as they have a signed
pass from their teacher.
- Students may take out three items at a time. Items must
be returned or renewed within two weeks
- Reference books usually stay in the library, but we do
make exceptions to this rule at times.
We offer the Accelerated Reader Program to all children.
During the year we sponsor competitions and rewards for those students who excel
with this program.We also offer a school-wide book club. Our first book was The Hunger Games. Our next book was Three Cups of Tea- Young Reader's Edition and we will be meeting in March to discuss The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
We also nominate students for the
Great Books Program and for the New
Jersey Connections Enthusiastic Reader Contest based upon
performance.
